This way, we create the collective value that our clients and society expect from us.
A company’s entire supply chain can make a significant impact in achieving sustainable development. PwC Luxembourg is doing its part by integrating long-term practices into our activities. For example, in our supply chain we choose suppliers who respect fundamental human rights, are conscious of social and ethical concerns, and reduce negative environmental impact where possible.
In 2019, the Earth’s Overshoot Day fell on July 29, the earliest date in 30 years. On this date, human demand for natural resources and services has officially surpassed what our planet can realistically regenerate within a year.
At PwC, our community investments are part of our purpose: to build trust in society and solve important problems. While we make the biggest impact by helping our clients tackle those challenges that are underpinned by society, we are also able to build communities where people and businesses can thrive by sharing their greatest asset: the skills, knowledge and talent of their people.
