We are grateful that 44 business leaders responded to our call enabling us to get a detailed view over the whole sectoral landscape of the country. Respondents encompass a diverse mix of leadership roles including IT, Data, Innovation, Risk, Compliance.
In this report we provide a fine-grained analysis of the maturity around GenAI, the most likely applications for this technology and of how our respondents are planning to use it for personal productivity and collaboration in the next years.
The age of GenAI has truly arrived in Luxembourg. Leaders across industries are seizing its transformative potential, but to realise this technology’s full impact, we must keep pace with rapidly evolving governance standards, responsible AI practices, and workforce readiness. While the path forward presents challenges, the benefits to productivity, innovation, and economic resilience are immense. Our role now is to foster a supportive regulatory environment and empower our talent to lead in this new era of intelligent collaboration.

At the same time the current level of maturity implies a significant need of investment in talents and the development of new skills.
In this report, we dig into the impact of GenAI and its perceived risks, while also providing an outlook on what may happen in the coming 12 to 36 months.
Most CEOs in Luxembourg and globally strongly believe that, in the long run, GenAI could have a material impact on efficiency and profitability gains of their organisation. It can also be a key ingredient to support business model transformation and reinvention. Still, there are hurdles and concerns to overcome.
