Our net zero commitment makes us ensure that not only we do our best to reduce our carbon emissions, but at the same time, that our suppliers are doing the same on their side, because this is the only way to maximise our efforts and achieve a greater impact. For the future, we’d like to do an analysis based on our Charter of Responsible Purchases and see how they are being implemented by our suppliers and what can be done to reduce their carbon footprint.

This fiscal year we had a procurement transformation journey, our purchasing department became a procurement department, this allows a centralisation of our strategy and a better monitoring of the purchases we make and that they stand with our procurement values. It will ensure that all our strategies go in the same direction. Our expenses in procurement during this fiscal year was €127 million divided in different services.
It is important to remember that all our suppliers sign our Charter of Responsible Purchases. By signing this Charter, our suppliers have agreed to respect the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) and follow social, ethical and environmental requirements which will contribute to achieving the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development as fixed by the United Nations. The signing of this Charter also includes the Global Third Party Code of Conduct, a supplementary set of guidelines to which our suppliers commit to.
Today more than 74% of our suppliers are located within the Benelux, French and German regions and 26% are from the rest of the world.
