What we do

PwC Luxembourg is the largest professional services firm in Luxembourg. We provide audit, tax and advisory services. Our firm provides advice to a wide variety of clients from local and middle market entrepreneurs to large multinational companies.

Although we mainly serve clients with operations in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, their reach is often international and, therefore, the impact of our business (especially in terms of legitimacy and ethics, as well as societal impact) goes beyond national borders. Our main revenues come from the following six industries: Alternative Investments, Asset and Wealth Management, Banking, Insurance, Government and Public Services, Industry and Services.

Our year in numbers

How we deliver on our purpose

Our times are marked by a troublesome loss of confidence - social and economic inequalities have never been so significant, and our planet has reached its boundaries. It is clear, a new system has to emerge. A system that will realign business, economy and society. At PwC Luxembourg, we are convinced that delivering on our purpose (‘Building trust in society and solving important problems’) we can contribute to this. As a basis of our corporate agenda, we identified together with our stakeholders a set of challenges, which are in our eyes very important problems that we can contribute to solve. But they are also key for us, as a service firm, to remain relevant to our clients, people and society.

How we contribute to the global agenda

While our top seven sustainability challenges are more relevant to the core activities of our Firm and allow us to make strategic changes; the remaining eight sustainability topics allow us to contribute to the global agenda. Some of them are part of our long standing systemic Corporate Responsibility approach, which we have pursued since 2007. We particularly focus on and continuously develop Diversity and Inclusion, Responsible Procurement, Environmental Stewardship and Community Engagement.

The quality of our work is at the heart of our organisation and we invest significant and increasing resources in its continuous enhancement across all of our businesses. This investment is targeted into many different areas, including training (technical, ethical and behavioural), methodologies, adding resources in key areas and exploring new ways of delivering our work.
