Alexandre Goossens, Advisory Partner

Meet new partner and world traveller, Alexandre Goosens, who has worked for PwC since 2008 - first in Belgium and now in Luxembourg. This is a man of many interests. One of those is clearly exploring. Alexandre studied Environmental Engineering in Belgium and in Canada, then got a MBA in Spain, did an internship in Peru, and almost secured a position in Colombia, but ended up returning to PwC Belgium before being contacted for a position in the Grand Duchy. 

Alexandre loves outdoor activities, such as skiing or hiking in the mountains. He has a passion for photography (which he teaches in his free time) and making documentary films. Just when you already thought, “that’s a lot of activities”, He has also graduated as an environmental engineer, he’s also a dance and ski teacher, and, oh, he has climbed Mount Kilimanjaro.

He is quite zen-like, and practises geobiology and meditation. When on his travels, he likes to meet people from everywhere to exchange ideas and experiences.

Cautious in the face of AI, Alexandre sees the potential of this formidable tool but also the absolute need for it to be regulated to avoid potential risks to humanity.

He extols the virtues of openness, accessibility, and listening at work, and is considered an attentive listener with his colleagues. Working mainly in Audit and Advisory, he is proud of his united and multidisciplinary team of whom he is very supportive in terms of workload and working hours.
