In times of crisis and financial distress, our business recovery services (BRS) aim at helping debtors and creditors to restore better financial key performance indicators and find solutions to their current situation. Our BRS team can intervene in the following context:
- Construction and/or review of a business plan (or financing plan)
- Identification of KPIs driving value improvement in the short term
- Determination and analysis of historical and projected trends including seasonality of sales
- Detailed analysis of the restructuring measures
- Short-term cash-flow analysis and comparison with cash flow after implementation of the restructuring measures
- Assistance with the restructuring plan in a judicial context
- Analysis of the opportunities for acquisition of targets under concern or distressed
- Buy-side due diligence in the context of financial concern focusing on short-term cash-flow
- Detailed analysis of net debt adjustments including delays, moratoria, and bank-allowed overruns
- Determination of cash requirements related to the acquisition: Purchase price + restructuring requirements
- Assistance with documentation and strategy for the presentation of the project to the stakeholders involved
- Fundraising and assistance to carve out and sale of distressed assets
- Assistance with the presentation of the documentation supporting the fundraising
- Vendor Assistance for the disposal of non-core activities
- If necessary, we will liaise with the stakeholders including the Luxembourg government to secure their support for the buyer’s restructuring plan
