Azure is a comprehensive cloud computing platform that provides Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions. It enables organisations to build, deploy, and manage applications and services on a global network of data centers. Azure offers a vast array of services, including virtual machines, databases, AI, analytics, storage, networking, and more.

Azure is the platform hosting all infrastructure services, such as:

  • Storage (Azure Storage, datalakes, etc.)
  • Compute services (Kubernetes, Virtual Machines, etc. )
  • Identity and security (Azure Active Directory)
  • Integration (API management)
  • Migration & recovery (Site recovery, Migration service)
  • Networking (Application gateway, Virtual networks, etc.)
  •  Databases (Cosmos, SQL, etc.)
  • Management & Governance (Azure Monitor, Azure Backup, Cost Management, etc.)
  • AI & Machine Learning (Cognitive services, Azure OpenAI, etc. )
  • Automated deployment (Azure DevOps)
  • Azure IoT (Azure IoT Hub, Azure IoT Central, Azure Sphere, Azure IoT Edge, etc.)

Azure Stack focuses on bringing Azure services to an organisation's own data center or edge locations. It enables consistent development and operational experiences between Azure and the private cloud environment.

  • Edge and disconnected scenarios: Azure Stack is ideal for deploying applications and services in remote or disconnected locations where low-latency processing, data sovereignty, or limited connectivity are important factors.
  • Data-intensive workloads: Organisations can leverage Azure Stack to process and store large volumes of data on-premises, particularly when moving data to the cloud is impractical due to network constraints or regulatory requirements.
  • Compliance and data sovereignty: Azure Stack helps meet regulatory compliance by keeping sensitive data on-premises while still benefiting from cloud capabilities and modern application development.

Azure Arc focuses on extending Azure management capabilities and services to diverse environments beyond Azure and is focused on hybrid cloud management, multi-cloud governance, and edge computing.

  • Hybrid cloud management: Azure Arc allows organisations to centrally manage and monitor resources across Azure, on-premises data centers, and other public clouds. It provides consistency in application deployments, infrastructure configuration, and policy enforcement.
  • Multi-cloud governance: With Azure Arc, organisations can apply Azure policies, access control, and monitoring to resources deployed in different cloud providers, streamlining governance and compliance efforts in a multi-cloud environment.
  • Edge computing: Azure Arc extends Azure services to edge locations, enabling the deployment and management of containerised applications, IoT solutions, and data services closer to where the data is generated. It reduces latency and improves responsiveness.

Azure’s diversified offerings and versatility allow their services to be centered around specific industries, such as the Financial sector or the healthcare industry.

Microsoft Business applications consist of the following two solutions: Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.

Dynamics 365 is a suite of integrated business applications that help organizations manage various aspects of their operations. Dynamics 365 provides a large selection of Customer Management and Enterprise Resource Planning tools.

We will assist you in defining the right com bination of the existing components in Dynamics 365 for your needs:

  • Dynamics 365 Customer Service
  • Dynamics 365 Field Service
  • Dynamics 365 Marketing
  • Dynamics 365 Finance
  • Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management
  • Dynamics 365 Human Resources
  • Dynamics 365 Commerce
  • Dynamics 365 Business Central…
  • And other industry-specific and cross-functional modules

PowerPlatform gives your organization the ability to create solutions that accelerate business.  It is the Microsoft solution you’re looking for to replace your legacy core business applications without worrying too much about maintenance hassle.

Thanks to its low-code/no code approach, it allows you to focus on the business processes instead of the development skills to be sourced.

The following services are part of the Power Platform:

  • Power Apps
  • Power Pages
  • Power Automate
  • Power Virtual Agents
  • AI Builder
  • Power Platform Connectors
  • Accessorily, Power BI

Microsoft Business applications will allow you to drive more efficiency, reduce costs, and create a hyperconnected business that links people, data, and processes across your organization - enabling every team to quickly adapt and innovate.

Copilot Value Assessment: Leverage the power of Microsoft’s GenAI to boost team productivity

What if you had a personal assistant living inside your applications and helping you get work done faster? This is Copilot.

It understands what you are working on, suggests content, summarises ideas, accelerates repetitive or time-consuming tasks, and much more. It is however more complex to embed into your business reality than it appears, and comes with real and measurable impact:

  • 70% of people using Copilot said they were more productive.*
  • 75% of users said Copilot "saves me time by finding whatever I need in my files."*
  • 67% said Copilot saved them time so they could focus on more important work.*

Reaching such benefits might be a challenge, even for the most mature organisations. But more than just a productivity boost, think of Copilot as your first step into AI-powered work, paving the way for more advanced solutions like Copilot Studio, AI Agents, or even Azure OpenAI.

As one of the earliest adopters of Microsoft 365 Copilot in Luxembourg, at PwC we have successfully integrated this innovative technology into our daily operations. Leveraging our extensive expertise in AI and GenAI, combined with our deep understanding of the local market and the global reach of the PwC Network, we are uniquely positioned to guide our clients through their own Copilot adoption journey. Our approach is not just about implementing technology; we bring together our technology knowledge, business acumen, and experience to provide a tailored strategy that aligns with your business needs.

Moreover, we have already delivered similar exercises to our clients, enabling them to fully utilise the power of Copilot and achieve significant productivity gains. By partnering with PwC, you can accelerate your GenAI strategy, benefiting from our insights and the collective strength of the PwC Network to turn challenges into differentiators and thrive in today's competitive landscape.

Our approach

To kickstart your GenAI strategy, you need a structured and tailored approach to overcome upcoming obstacles. From exploring the full potential of Copilot through a targeted pilot, to your firm-wide integration, we help you drive your GenAI journey.
