Operating in a regulated environment should never slow ambition. At PwC Luxembourg, our Regulatory, Risk and Compliance team exists for one clear purpose: to help our clients grow, transform and succeed—while remaining fully aligned with regulatory expectations.

We support financial services institutions across the full spectrum of regulatory‑driven topics throughout their lifecycle, with a focus on entities supervised by the CSSF, including banks, electronic money and payment institutions, funds, management companies, PSFs and relevant branches.

Our teams accompany the set‑up, authorisation and structuring of regulated entities, and support ongoing compliance with evolving regulatory frameworks and supervisory expectations. This includes advising on the impact and implementation of key initiatives such as DORA, MiFID/RIS and broader European and Luxembourg regulatory developments, as well as governance and management body requirements.

Beyond advisory services, we deliver targeted managed services designed to simplify day‑to‑day regulatory obligations where appropriate. This includes fund registration in the countries where the funds are distributed, the maintenance of fund's documentation (e.g. prospectus), creation and maintenance of PRIIPs/KIDs, risk/statistical reporting (i.e. CSSF, BCL etc.), review and update of marketing material, Regulatory watch – allowing our clients to focus on their core business with confidence.

We also partner with our clients during strategic and supervisory‑critical transitions, where regulatory and compliance considerations are central. This includes supporting market entries, changes to operating and governance models, regulatory remediation programmes, preparation for regulatory inspections, restructuring of shareholding, and enterprise‑wide business transformations, with a pragmatic and outcome‑driven approach.
