Francesco Piantoni, Advisory Partner

Meet new partner, Francesco Piantoni. For him, professional growth is crucial. That’s why becoming a partner is an achievement that makes him proud. The support and celebration he received from colleagues and family due to this accomplishment are something he treasures.

Originally from Italy, he relocated to the Grand Duchy in 2006. In addition to his career, Francesco has a passion for cooking, particularly dishes like risotto, fish, and slow-cooked meats. He enjoys preparing family recipes and fondly remembers those passed down from his grandmother. Spending quality time with his family and engaging in outdoor activities such as running are among his many interests, as well as artwork, of which he has a small collection.

Francesco loves heavy metal music, especially Metallica, and he played bass guitar for 10 years. A football enthusiast, he had the opportunity to play in the academy of Atalanta Bergamo, a Serie A team, when he was younger.

Francesco's travels include a trip to Australia to learn English, where he had no plans upon arrival. The sense of freedom he felt at that time is a golden memory.

His relationship with technology is mixed; while recognising the utility of his laptop, he is not one to obsess over the latest gadgets. What he is interested in is the positive impact of technology on people's lives and how it shapes different lifestyles.

If he were to embark on a large-scale project, it would involve building schools in underserved areas of the world to provide access to knowledge for all.
