Following a leaked draft of the European Commission’s Sustainable Finance Disclosure overhaul (“SFDR 2.0”), the shift from a pure disclosure regime toward a product categorisation scheme seems to be confirmed. We expect that the European Commission will officially publish their proposal for SFDR 2.0 on 19 November 2025.
