We are delighted to invite you to our Conference Navigating the Retail Investment Strategy, organised jointly with ABBL !
During this conference, we will explore the evolving landscape of retail investment strategy (“RIS”). EU is pushing for a legal framework that empowers and encourages retail investors to further participate in the capital markets. For this purpose, the Retail Investor Strategy has been put forward, aiming at redefining the rules surrounding inducements in terms of transparency, acceptance and justification. Beyond inducements, RIS will also introduce a value for money concept. Business models and processes of distributors (Banks, Investments firms and Insurance) and manufacturers (Management Companies) will be impacted.
The agenda of the session will be organised as follows:
Update on the status of RIS (political agreement & regulation)
Overview of the impacts on product distribution and on product manufacturers – products, services, revenues, clients
Voice of the market with a panel discussion (composed of banks, insurance companies and asset managers)
