For the ninth consecutive year, PwC Luxembourg, Baker McKenzie and Amcham are celebrating International Women’s Day (IWD) as an iconic moment to reflect on how far we want to push the gender needle.

Each year, we bring together a group of insightful and daring speakers to nurture a genuine, inspirational and thought‑provoking conversation around the opportunities and challenges of gender balance and inclusion in today’s world.

Following last year’s dialogue—where over 200 guests explored how to inspire inclusion in the workplace—we are taking the discussion a step further.

Mentoring and role modelling remain essential, but in 2026, women need proactive advocates, people who speak up for them in the rooms where decisions are made. This year we focus on the power of sponsorship as a catalyst for equal opportunities and career advancement.
