Banking Day - 30 September 2024

We are delighted to bring the banking community back together and invite you to PwC Luxembourg Banking Day – GenAI as a catalyst for reinvention!

This year, we will discuss how banks can make the most out of GenAI. Join us to explore together the future of banking through the lens of Generative AI and discuss how this cutting-edge technology can support the market players to enhance cost efficiency, reinvent business models and drive innovation.

To start the event, we will have the honor to welcome the Minister of Finance, Mr. Gilles Roth, for the opening speech.

And to bring this topic to life, we are delighted to announce that we will hear the views of Patrice Amann from Microsoft, on Technology in the Banking sector, recent market evolution and trends in the EMEA region. This keynote speech will be followed by a panel discussion with Ananda Kautz - ABBL, Anne Goujon - BGL BNP Paribas and Paul Sweeney - Starling Bank, moderated by Patrice Witz, Technology Partner and Digital Leader at PwC Luxembourg, on how to leverage digital technologies and (Gen)AI in the Banking sector.

After a well deserved break, we will broaden our horizons with Elin Hauge who will shed light on GenAI and how to see beyond the fog of hype and hysteria. She will be followed by a fireside chat with Simon Gorbutt, LFF and Björn Ebert, FS Leader at PwC Luxembourg, on the perspectives for the Financial Sector.

But that's not all! We will close the event with Claude Marx, Director General of CSSF who will share the view of the Regulator when it comes to adopting and implementing GenAI in our day-to-day business.
