Aurélien Murat

I joined PwC Luxembourg in 2009 as an associate in the audit practice, after completing my studies in economics in Lyon, France - my hometown.

Over the years, I’ve developed extensive experience auditing large listed and non-listed international operational structures based in Luxembourg, including both consolidated and stand-alone entities reporting under IFRS and Lux GAAP.

In the past five years, I’ve increasingly focused on the Alternatives industry, working with clients in Real Estate, Infrastructure, and Private Equity. I became a chartered accountant (Réviseur d’entreprises) in 2020.

As an entrepreneurship enthusiast, I also actively support the Industry & Services (I&S) sector in its Go-To-Market strategy.

On a personal note, I’m a curious individual who thrives on new challenges and opportunities. I’ve been passionate about sports from an early age—especially tennis and running (Roger and Rafa, we miss you!) - and I also enjoy listening to music and traveling in my free time.

Last but not least, I’m thrilled to share that my partner and I will soon welcome our first child!
