Ethical culture is critically important to our organisation. Our high standards of ethical behaviour and the trust placed in us by clients, communities, and employees are fundamental to everything we do.
Our ethical culture is not defined by a simple mission statement but by the sum of our daily actions and choices. It influences how we treat each other, accept clients, provide advice, and engage with external stakeholders.
Unethical behaviors can have severe internal and external consequences for both individuals and the organization. They can damage our reputation, erode trust with clients and partners, and expose us to legal risks. The overall impact can be devastating, affecting profitability, employee well-being, and community relations.
Our PwC Values and Code of Conduct (the Code) form the foundation of our ethical culture. The Code outlines professional standards, laws, regulations, values, and behaviors that define us. It applies to all PwC members. We all play a crucial role in upholding the Code by speaking up against inconsistencies. Violations of the Code or policies will result in accountability for those involved or aware but not reporting them.
