Audit

  • Take part in audit and other assurance engagements for local and international clients;
  • Implement our audit methodology (analysing the client’s environment, assessing the risks and the internal control framework, auditing the (consolidated) financial statements prepared under IFRS or Luxembourg GAAP, drafting recommendations and specific reports, etc.);
  • Have interactions with colleagues from other PwC offices and with clients contacts from all over the world.

Tax

  • Manage and supervise the accounting, tax and legal aspects of a portfolio of local and international clients. Accounting, consolidation, due diligence, tax returns (corporate tax and VAT), preparing annual accounts are examples of the tasks you will perform;
  • Advise our international clients on their structure from a tax perspective at every important step of their business evolution: e.g. during their set-up, merger, buyout, launch of a new product, etc.

Advisory

  • Take part in advisory missions where you will assist our clients in a large variety of activities: defining strategy, targeting operating models and designing processes, providing support to optimise client's performance in fields such as organisation, project management, operational tasks, process implementation or data analytics;
  • Advice on regulatory and operational framework;
  • Advise and assist clients to determine and launch efficient fund distribution strategies.

Risk Assurance

  • Take part in internal audit (advisory) reviews focusing on process, controls and regulations, as well as AML advisory engagements for local and international clients.
  • Be involved in projects for clients within the financial sector, including asset and wealth management and alternatives, in order to help them improve their internal control framework and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Work in a highly dynamic team and increase your knowledge in internal control and regulatory compliance.
  • Have interactions with colleagues from other lines of services within PwC Luxembourg, other PwC offices and with clients contacts from Luxembourg and beyond.

Tax Consulting

  • Working in a dynamic and rewarding environment
  • Advise on the structuring of our clients from a tax perspective at every important step of their business evolution: e.g. during their set-up, merger, buyout, launch of a new product, refinancing, acquisitions or disposal of assets, etc.
  • Manage and supervise the day to day tax aspects of a portfolio of local and international clients from Luxembourg direct tax to VAT but also going through transfer pricing support, as well as developing new opportunities for the firm.
  • You will be required to collaborate with other tax and non-tax teams within PwC Luxembourg and in other jurisdictions  to answer our clients’ needs.

Advisory

  • Be involved in various projects for clients within the financial sector focusing on the funds industry, including asset & wealth management and alternative funds.    
  • Take part in consulting projects where you will assist these types of clients in areas such as: defining client’s target operating model covering the organisation, processes and/or systems dimensions, supporting clients in their operational efficiency through process and operational framework reviews, empowering clients with project management capabilities, regulatory advice linked to hot topics or data management optimisation.
  • Work in a dynamic, international and rewarding environment.

Tax

We are offering you a varied position that will allow you to develop your tax and accounting knowledge, including the following tasks:

  • Book-keeping and accounting, preparation of annual accounts and financial statements;

  • Preparation of corporate tax and VAT returns;

  • Preparation of regulatory and investor reporting;

  • Preparing and performing filing obligations with the relevant authorities;

  • Assisting your team coordinator in the improvement of our accounting and tax practice.

Assurance

  • Perform quality reviews of the financial statements prepared by our clients;

  • Work on the legal and regulatory part of the audit missions such as collection and documentation of clients' legal information and completion of clients’ activity reports;

  • Perform procedures on different audit cycles from an accounting perspective;

  • Take part to the external confirmation process; 

  • Participate in the continuous improvement and transformation of audit processes and internal tools.

Internal firm services

  • Perform various accounting tasks: entering supplier invoices, issuing client invoices, inputting various

  • transactions, inputting movements of funds, recording cash transactions, etc.;

  • Perform various administrative tasks: filing, updating databases, sending documents, etc.;

  • Be an adaptable contact person in order to deal with and provide guidance for various internal and external requests; 

  • Identify aspects of daily procedures that can be improved;

  • Take part in the development of new tools to optimise existing procedures.

Your profile:

  • You are or will be soon graduated and look for a diverse career start;
  • You are fluent in English. French and German are considered as an asset;
  • You are intellectually curious, willing to learn, rigorous and proactive;
  • You have both strong communication and good analytical skills;
  • You are a good team player and you work on multiple tasks independently or in a team;
  • You have developed an agile mind, capable of setting up priorities;
  • You are a fast learner with the ability to understand complex matters in a relatively short period of time.
