Based on the temporary figures published by the Statec on 31 July 2018, the higher inflation rate of July has triggered a general indexation of all the salaries by 2.5 % on 1 August 2018 with a new reference index fixed at 814.40.

We remind you that this increase is mandatory except for posted workers in Luxembourg as long as their gross salary remains above the new social minimum wage defined by law or by a collective agreement.

Please find hereunder a summary of the main social parameters applicable on 1 August 2018 following the new index.
