Financial Risk: what are the market figures telling us?

Are the market figures saying the situation is similar to 2007?

  • Like 2007, the markets are near all time records in different asset classes at the same time…
  • … but a certain number of macroeconomic parameters make the situation different (yields level, Central Bank balance sheets, regulation)
  • The next crisis could come from known risks (e.g. repo market) or unknown risks (geopolitical, environmental, epidemic, cyber etc).
