ALERT: Social media and mobile impersonation fraud utilising the PricewaterhouseCoopers Société Coopérative brand

PricewaterhouseCoopers Société Coopérative (PwC) have become aware of a fraud attempt to impersonate PwC Luxembourg’s recruiters and propose fraudulent job offers via social media (including Instagram, Telegram, LinkedIn, Facebook) and mobile phone networks.

We would like to remind you that PwC Luxembourg solely utilises our career website and two designated sourcing channels - LinkedIn Recruiter's InMails and Xing messaging - for all communications related to recruitment processes. We do not engage through any other Instant Messaging platforms for recruitment communication purposes.

Prior to responding to any messages, we encourage you to thoroughly review the profiles of the Talent Sourcers and Recruiters reaching out to you.

Our priority is to ensure the security of your job application process. In that regard, all our legitimate job openings and secured application processes can be found on https://www.pwc.lu/en/careers.html.

In general, we recommend you avoid sharing any personal information with anyone outside our official career website. In case you receive suspicious messages or job offers on social media and mobile phones, disregard them, and, if you wish to do so, don’t hesitate to inform us about the incident. You may also report the impersonating profile to the social media platform, if that option is available. Your vigilance helps us maintain our integrity and protect other people from falling victim to fraudsters.
