• Flash News: Place of taxation for transports of goods and their related services
  On 23 February 2012, the law proposal n°6355 which changes the rules regarding the place of taxation of transports of goods and their related operations (loading, unloading or handling of goods, etc.) was published. This law aims at avoiding double taxation for transports of goods carried out outside of the European Union.

The geographical position of Luxembourg, its infrastructure, its multilingual workforce and the collaborative approach of the Luxembourg government give the country a competitive edge for this type of activity even if land is scarce and therefore generally more costly than in neighboring countries.
