The International Tax Review held its annual award ceremony in London on 18 May 2011. PwC Luxembourg was designated "Transfer Pricing Firm of the Year". For PwC Luxembourg, this first award in this area is a clear recognition for its team working in the Transfer Pricing field.
"We are pleased to have received this distinction at a time when Luxembourg’s authorities are implementing important measures to continue to play an important role in the Transfer Pricing area, says Begga Sigurdardottir, partner in charge of Transfer Pricing at PwC Luxembourg. This award reinforces our leadership position in all areas related to tax and transfer pricing." PwC Luxembourg’s Tax services employ more than 300 persons.
The PwC network of firms also received the distinction "European Transfer Pricing Firm of the Year".
The European Tax Awards
The European Tax Awards are conferred annually by the "International Tax Review". Between January and March 2011 companies from 26 European jurisdictions or regions could provide at least three best-practice case studies. A jury then evaluated the cases using the criteria size, innovation and complexity.
