Common Consolidated Corporate Tax Base (CCCTB)

Moving towards a tax harmonisation in Europe?

Common Consolidated Corporate Tax Base (CCCTB)

On 16 March 2011 the European Union Commission issued the Draft Directive for a Common Consolidated Corporate Tax Base (“CCCTB”). According to this Draft, companies that opt for the CCCTB will be able to compute their tax base according to a common set of rules which will be applicable in all of the EU Member States. In this podcast, Julien Lamotte is going to talk about the recent developments in this respect. Wim Piot and Mr Michel Dewolf, Professor at the Catholic University of Louvain and the University of Liège will also share their views on this project.
